Hi, I’m Felix! I’ve been in the event business for the past 10 years. In that time I’ve seen many changes, but nothing comes remotely close to what 2020 gave us. PIRATEx has its roots in the startup ecosystem, where we’ve learned to act fast and respond quickly, and continually learn from changes in the market. That’s why at the beginning of the worldwide lockdown we switched our business model from largely producing physical conferences to online events in less than 2 weeks. After producing over 100 online events (and counting!), I’m more convinced than ever that online, and hybrid events are here to stay.
